In 2020, it will be 175 years since Stanley was founded and the seat of Government moved from Port Louis.
To celebrate this, a walk/run/horse ride/4 by 4 drive/ motor bikes and boats will make the trip in from Port Louis to Stanley on the 16th of February 2020. The proposal is for all to end up at the museum which will be hosting a Fete including displays and food.
At this stage, we are just looking to gauge level of interest (precise plans and details will be published nearer the date).
